☯️DAO and Governance

At the inception of building Meta Earth, we outlined a grand vision - to create a parallel world that corresponds to the real world using Meta Earth, bringing new social relationships and asset transfer mapping. In this new world, decisions are no longer made by a few but by every citizen who possesses an equal identity.

Based on this vision, we have devised a governance system for Meta Earth that aligns with the future:

• Over 200 countries/regions correspond to over 200 Zone nodes globally.

• Each Zone possesses autonomy.

• Digital citizens within each Zone have equal citizenship rights (proposals, voting).

• Any Zone follows a one-person, one-vote principle.

• Digital citizens can freely enter other Zones.

• Validator Nodes are identified and determined by DAO.

ME DAO is responsible for selecting and ultimately determining the Validator Nodes for each Zone, and it operates in a Decentralized Autonomous Organization manner. Members of ME DAO must be ME ID holders, ensuring the healthy and orderly development of the Meta Earth ecosystem.

Similarly, the governance of the global network treasury is also overseen by a DAO. When the number of digital citizens in a Zone surpasses a certain threshold, a Zone DAO can be established for self-governance. Governance within all Zones adheres to the principles of fairness and equality, with any proposals and voting following a one-person, one-vote rule.
