📄Costs of the ME ID Protocol

A lack of cost in the identity creation mechanism will lead to a massive generation of zero-cost addresses within the system, while excessively high costs cannot meet the usage needs of global users.

To prevent Sybil attacks, the ME ID Protocol utilizes Meta Earth's native token (see Section 5.1 MEC) for paying for the registration of identities on the blockchain, issuing them, and paying for gas fees that are generated from transactions initiated by the ID issuing process.

ME features low costs, providing reliable support for the development needs of global businesses.

Moreover, all transactions are conducted on the ME Network blockchain, with transaction records being fully public. If users or institutions engage in improper behavior, these actions will be recorded and subsequently used for credit assessment, providing substantial evidence for ME DAO governance.
